Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-level platforms and governance initiatives in alignment with the mission and objectives of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). This on-site position, based in the Washington, D.C. area, requires a highly analytical and organized professional skilled in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, governance facilitation, and adoption planning. The Senior Business Analyst will drive strategic alignment, gather and refine requirements, and guide project teams through full lifecycle implementation and delivery. Job Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of the strategic roadmap and vision for enterprise platforms and ecosystem alignment
Ensure alignment of business and platform teams with strategic objectives, governance standards, and measurable business outcomes
Participate in and facilitate governance boards and steering committees, contributing to governance planning and enforcement
Serve as the primary liaison for customer engagement, project activities, and issue escalation
Define and document project goals, scope, and timelines to ensure milestones are achieved within schedule and budget
Collaborate with Project Managers, Release Managers, Security Teams, and other stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
Participate in Agile scrum meetings, governance reviews, and strategic workshops, including project kickoffs and process planning
Contribute to platform roadmap development and support enterprise platform adoption and demand planning
Lead the capture and documentation of business and user requirements, use cases, and functional stories under Agile methodologies
Ensure requirements are well defined, validated, and implemented to meet stakeholder expectations
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, identifying and prioritizing business, process, and data requirements
Support platform and release teams through training, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support
Partner with the Release Manager to develop release estimates and schedules
Drive user adoption by assessing training needs, delivering training sessions, and facilitating change management
Create and maintain training materials, user documentation, and internal communications related to platform deployments
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, strategic planning, or governance support
Proven experience capturing and managing complex requirements and supporting enterprise platforms across full project lifecycles
Experience working within federal or highly regulated environments preferred
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and stakeholder communication practices
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Demonstrated ability to build consensus and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams
Tools and Technologies
Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms for documentation and requirement tracking
Proficiency with standard business analysis and project tools (e.g., Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, process modeling software)
Familiarity with enterprise platform environments such as case management, workflow automation, or ITSM solutions preferred
