Job Summary

The Assembler - Wiring is responsible for performing a variety of assembly tasks involving electronic and mechanical components, including subassemblies, wiring, and soldering. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed diagrams, drawings, and specifications to ensure high-quality, reliable assemblies. The position involves both repetitive and non-repetitive production work, including assembly, inspection, and testing of components and subassemblies.

Job Responsibilities




  • Assemble and wire electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and panels according to diagrams and work instructions



  • Perform soldering operations, including soldering to terminals, connectors, and boards, ensuring compliance with quality standards



  • Use hand and power tools to perform assembly and layout work



  • Conduct continuity and quality checks on work in process and completed assemblies



  • Identify and correct assembly issues or defects following established procedures



  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies or prototypes as required



  • Assist in testing experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions



  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area in accordance with safety guidelines



  • Follow production schedules and meet established performance and quality goals




Job Requirements




  • Experience in wiring, soldering, and electronic/mechanical assembly required



  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings



  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment



  • Strong attention to detail and quality control standards



  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy



  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity



  • Basic computer skills for recording and tracking work progress



  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team




Education




  • High school diploma or equivalent required



  • Technical training or certification in electronics or mechanical assembly preferred




Work Experience




  • Previous experience in wiring, soldering, or electronic/mechanical assembly required




Additional Job Details




  • Full-time, on-site position located in Oldsmar, FL



  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM (EST)



  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring fine manual dexterity
