What this job involves:

JLL Facilities Management is seeking a skilled CRO to join our Facilities Operations Center team, providing 24/7 monitoring and support for building systems and technology infrastructure across our commercial real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactive monitoring of building automation systems, HVAC controls, and security systems that support critical facility operations and enhance tenant experience.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Building Systems Monitoring: Proactively monitor building automation systems (BAS), HVAC controls, and mechanical equipment using top industry platforms (Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens). Ensure energy efficiency and resolve issues before they impact operations.
  • Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Respond rapidly to system alarms, outages, and tenant service requests. Support on-site teams, coordinate with vendors, escalate technical issues as needed, and document incident resolutions.
  • Tenant Services & Communication: Deliver clear, timely updates to tenants and property management during outages and maintenance. Address after-hours service requests, coordinate planned activities, and maintain high professional customer service standards.
  • Facilities Operations Support: Oversee building access, security systems, and life safety equipment. Partner with security and property teams, assist with utility management, and support sustainability and vendor initiatives.
  • Process & Documentation Management: Maintain accurate system documentation, follow SOPs, update maintenance systems, contribute to best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in facilities operations, building systems, or network operations
  • Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC
  • Experience with monitoring tools and building management platforms
  • Familiarity with access control systems, fire safety systems, and security equipment
  • Knowledge of Windows and basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience with ticketing systems and facility management software
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, use computer equipment, and maintain focus during overnight shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial real estate facilities management
  • Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainability practices
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS platforms
  • Experience with mobile device management and remote monitoring capabilities
  • Previous experience in a 24/7 facilities operations environment
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Shift: 24/7 rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
