This is a remote role

Responsibilities:

  • Own and support internal software development process through requirement management and quality testing.

  • Manage QE team deliverables, provide high quality technical assistance, identify potential data quality and data processing issues and maintain the overall quality of reporting data.

  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications and accordingly design test solutions and guide the QE team to ensure complete test coverage.

  • Architect and design re-usable frameworks for validating data ingestion of heterogeneous sources.

  • Design and implement automated end-to-end test solutions for data pipelines to support real-time and batch processes.

  • Manage the creation, development and maintenance of comprehensive test plans for data management and data visualization implementations.

  • Create and maintain documentation and instructions for software quality engineering processes.

  • Execute multiple test plans according to pre-determined deadlines to ensure successful releases.

  • Help conduct audits and analyze project release data to determine accuracy of tests.

  • Triage incoming software defects and facilitate the gathering of additional information and requirements for issues as needed.

  • Remote role.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and three years of experience in Quality Engineering/ Quality Assurance systems.

  • Experience must include three years each of the following: data management and automation; testing RDBMS; designing Test Automation Frameworks using Java/JavaScript and Selenium for data validations; writing complex SQL queries to validate source-to-target data movement and transformation logic; planning and executing functional, regression, system, integration and User Acceptance Testing for data warehouse and enterprise reporting projects; and Master Data Management validation.

  • Experience must include one year of managing QE teams for data management, data warehouse and business intelligence implementations. Experience can be gained concurrently.

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures

The annual starting salary rate for this position is between $142,500 - $155,250.63/year annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 120 hours of vacation time per year
