As the Manager of Product Portfolio Operations, Issuing Solutions, you will support the global Issuing Solutions organization as a whole, driving operational excellence and serve as a resource for process, data, and organizational effectiveness. You'll work horizontally, scaling the frameworks, tools, and processes that empowers the Business and Product Managers to deliver exceptional products efficiently. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building the connective tissue that enables high-performing product organizations. Essential Functions:
- Lead and manage the Product Lifecycle Management framework and processes for Issuing Solutions. Help coordinate critical efforts to roll out the framework and updated processes
- Coordinate preparation for critical executive sessions such as the Product Delivery / Roadmap reviews, Regional President Roadmap Meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews. Lead the curation of materials for Issuing Solutions and help synthesize insights
- Coordinate quarterly Visa Product Roadmap updates for Issuing Solutions in coordination with VAS Product Ops
- Foster strong collaboration between VAS Product Operations, Visa Product, and regional VAS teams to drive alignment on priorities, dependencies, and resource needs.
- Partner with VAS Product Operations, and Product Teams to oversee product family investment reporting and management, ensuring transparency and accountability for portfolio spend, resource allocation, and performance against strategic objectives
- Support the coordination of standardized portfolio health dashboards and reports, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform decision making.
- Process Improvement: Be the voice of Issuing Solutions to ensure continuous improvements in portfolio and product management processes, tools, and reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and value delivered to stakeholders.
- Onboarding & Training:Support the onboarding programs and ongoing training/SME for Product team members on processes, tools, and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify operational bottlenecks and drive initiatives for ongoing process improvement, efficiency, and scalability within the Product organization.
This is a hybrid position based in Austin, TX or San Francisco Bay Area. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD(Business, Finance, Engineering or related field)
- Your work experience is related to product/ product management / product operations or similar.
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of experience in product portfolio management, product operations, business operations, program management, or a related function, ideally within technology, fintech, or payments industry-
- Demonstrated experience managing complex portfolios and investment reporting, with a Deep understanding of product development processes and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in portfolio analytics, dashboarding, and executive reporting (e.g., PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel), problem-solving skills, adept at using data to inform process improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging with executive audiences
- Proven ability to navigate and influence in a highly matrixed, global organization. Influence and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational & project management skills and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience administering and optimizing project and portfolio management tools (e.g., JIRA, Clarity, Smartsheet) a plus
- Experience in change management, process rollout, and driving adoption across organizations.
- Strategic thinking with strong business acumen

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 116,300 to 187,350 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
