As the Business Development Manager, you will drive new Automotive Refinish sales opportunities and handle key account management with strategic existing customer relationships. Your efforts will contribute to achieving significant business growth and client satisfaction by emphasizing the value of PPG's products and services. You will report to the Automotive Refinish Regional Manager. Responsibilities
- Build and execute a sales strategy targeted at commercial accounts, emphasizing revenue growth, customer retention, and value-based selling.
- Develop and implement tailored account plans that leverage PPG's suite of products and value-added services to demonstrate a measurable impact on customer success and profitability.
- Articulate and quantify the value of PPG's offerings to address customer needs, solve challenges, and create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Identify, pursue, negotiate, and secure new automotive refinish accounts while expanding opportunities with existing clients.
- Mentor and collaborate with sales staff to strengthen the pipeline of automotive refinish accounts and improve closing rates on large-scale opportunities.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to craft proactive, value-driven sales solutions and proposals.
- Build and maintain an account target list, identify industry shifts/trends such as e-commerce, and adapt strategies to capitalize on these changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum 2 years of automotive refinish sales or related experience.
- Experience successfully selling value and drive revenue growth within automotive refinish business.
- 1+ years of experience in Automotive Collision and Refinish Product sales
