About our practice

When you come to Corewell Health Digestive Health Services, you are getting comprehensive care with a multidisciplinary approach. Now performing more than 35,000+ endoscopies a year, we have one of the largest volume centers in Michigan. Our experts have more exposure to advanced, complex care cases as well as routine procedures. We offer a wide variety of services, including office visit consultation with a specialist, disease-specific, multi-specialty team clinics, and both outpatient and inpatient procedures.

As the largest inpatient referral center in West Michigan, our community partners know their patients are in safe care when they refer patients to Corewell Health. Our multidisciplinary team includes experts in gastroenterology as well as colorectal, and upper gastrointestinal conditions who offer the latest minimally invasive procedures. That means less time in the hospital and more time with your family.

We have the largest group of gastroenterologists in West Michigan. Our resolute team of highly trained experts perform the latest diagnostic testing in gastroenterology, using modern treatment techniques to manage digestive disease. We are dedicated to preserving the digestive health of our patients and providing the outstanding care every patient deserves.

Scope of work

Coordinates and organizes clinical personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization in a cost-effective manner and in conjunction with the manager, where applicable. She/he has responsibility for clinical operations, orients and trains team members and ensures competency for excellence in clinical practice. Develop process improvement initiatives based on best practice and participate in the development of policies and procedures. Collaborates with providers, administrators, and other stakeholders to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the services and programs offered by the facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
  • Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required.
  • One year of recent and relevant supervisory or management experience Preferred.
  • Experience working in an ambulatory setting Preferred.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
