Scope of Work

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

The Mammography RN works closely with Mammography and Ultrasound Technologists to provide care for patients within the mammography space. Examples of job duties are to help schedule biopsy procedures and provide education pre/post biopsy.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or equivalent.

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N., or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. Preferred effective September 2024.
