Utilizing your creativity and innovative engineering skills, you'll participate in engineering teams supporting experiment design, materials, equipment setup and maintenance and related issues as well as perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems. You'll also provide technical expertise to customers, users or company personnel either at domestic or international field sites.

What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor's of Science or Technology degree in Engineering, a related field or equivalent

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Contributes to the development and submission of proposals by providing necessary project support data and documentation.
- Supports efforts to coordinate the interface between manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and the engineering IPTs to support the first article engineering builds.
- Leads peer review sessions to ensure accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
- Initiating material procurements and interfacing with Supply Chain, Vendors and Manufacturing to ensure resource availability to support build schedules.
- Ensures product bill of material is maintained, and accurate by coordinating inputs from IPT lead and product team through PDM system workflows.
- Provides visibility into material order status and elevates issues to IPT leads and DPME as necessary using MRP system reporting and analytics.
- Ensures the Bill of Materials (BOM) is accurate and up-to-date by consolidating inputs from various technical leads.
- Provides continuity from proposal to execution for material
- Material Management and Ordering
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use specialized software for collaboration and time management, including spreadsheets; Project scheduling applications like MS Project
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn PDM software (Windchill preferred) for managing product data, configurations, and change control processes
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (IFS preferred) for material planning, procurement tracking, and resource management
- Understanding of PLM workflows and how PDM systems integrate with engineering and manufacturing processes
- Experience with inventory control, material management and tracking
- Strong time management and analytical skills
- Self-starter and initiator
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in electrical/mechanical systems, packaging methods
- Proficient in creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Target salary range: USD $72,913.00/Yr. - USD $78,894.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
