Contract Specialist | Managed Care

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Specialist to support our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. In this role, you will manage a wide range of contracting activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate and prepare documentation to evaluate the financial and administrative impact of contracts.

• Review, negotiate, and implement contracts in compliance with corporate policies.

• Lead and train team members in contract data entry and database management (Lawson).

• Monitor contract performance using software tools and internal feedback.

• Support senior leadership in creating and maintaining service contracts.

• Oversee contract renewals and resolve contractual issues in a timely manner.

• Streamline contracting processes and enhance communication across departments.

• Facilitate administrative meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure consistent and predictable attendance.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:

Education:Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. JD, MBA, or Paralegal degree desired.

Experience:Required: 2-4 years of experience in managed care, business, legal studies, healthcare, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

• 6 months in a contract management environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with Lawson contract database is a plus.
