Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where your primary focus will be monitoring and controlling entry points to help create a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional presence. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying credentials, assisting individuals with access needs, and responding to security-related situations as they arise. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with access-related inquiries and directing them as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of access activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding any security-related issues or emergencies.
• Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols while performing duties at the commercial real estate location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the job state and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required for driving positions only.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
