SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE

A key influencer of Regal Rexnord's short and long-term success depends on the ability to have the right talent, in the right roles at the right time to drive the enterprise strategy.

Reporting to the CHRO, the Vice President, Talent will serve as a key member of the HR Leadership Team. This is a hands-on role that is responsible for driving enterprise recruitment, succession, talent management, performance management, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, associate communications and engagement. The individual will be responsible for developing strategy, providing thought leadership, building implementation roadmaps and partnering across the organization to execute. Will be a key partner to CHRO along with the Human Resources Leadership Team (HRLT) and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

The VP of Talent will lead and develop an internal team and supplemental resources. This individual must be forward thinking, results based and have the ability to expeditiously execute global projects and programs. The successful candidate must be able to generate win-win outcomes by building partnerships across the enterprise while aligning expectations and integrating various points of view.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evolve the Performance Management framework and technology to enable a simplified approach to SMART goal setting, understanding/demonstration of the Regal Rexnord's values, leadership competencies, and performance evaluation measures.
  • Evolve the Talent Review framework and technology to provide measurable, meaningful, and consistent evaluation of talent across the segments that enables a high quality, diverse leadership pipeline to be built. This includes tools that will assist the business in identifying high-potential talent, measuring readiness and creating a culture that develops, retains and promotes this talent.
  • Evolve Succession Planning to develop a pipeline of emerging senior talent across the enterprise. Partner with the Segment and Functional HR leaders to identify areas of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to their talent pipeline and put counter measures in place. Enhance the talent cadence and visibility to the emerging leadership pipeline with clear metrics to monitor progress.
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition strategy inclusive of employment branding, executive and professional and production associate recruitment.
  • Develop and implement innovative learning and development solutions to enable leaders to develop the necessary leadership, 80/20 and Continuous Improvement capabilities. Create and execute learning strategy to address leadership skill development across career stages.
  • Champion the Employee Engagement strategy, including overseeing execution of the enterprise-wide continuous listening and survey strategy and ongoing enterprise improvement initiatives to drive engagement.
  • Evolve Diversity, Engagement and Inclusion strategy ensuring integration into all aspects of talent processes from recruitment and onboarding to development and succession.
  • Consult with Segment and Functional HR leaders on organizational effectiveness opportunities to support their business strategy (e.g., team effectiveness, interventions, organization design).
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement and deliver results aligned with enterprise and HR strategy, including KPIs.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. This leader must have the passion, energy and intellectual curiosity necessary for a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness or related field.
  • Master's degree highly preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in OD, TM, LD and HR Business Partnership with strong practical experience and subject matter expertise in performance management, succession planning, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, employee communications and change management.
  • 5+ years' experience managing a team (direct and indirect).
  • Prior TM and LD experience in a decentralized global industrial manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience providing coaching to leaders and using a range of assessment instruments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence resources outside one's direct responsibility.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and globally.
