We are looking for a highly skilled Content Marketing Manager who is first and foremost a strong content writer. This individual will be responsible for producing and overseeing a wide range of content that drives advisor engagement, supports lead generation, and advances our client's position as a thought leader in the financial services industry. The role requires someone who can balance creativity with strategy: writing content that informs and inspires while also managing the broader direction of how content is developed, delivered, and measured across multiple channels.

We thrive on our unique culture of like-minded professionals empowering each other's growth, potential, and success. You will work closely with the Creative Team, Marketing Strategists, Business Leaders, and Stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer and client experiences.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be at the center of content creation and strategy, balancing hands-on writing with thoughtful planning and collaboration. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects and client needs are managed simultaneously, and where attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

  • Write, edit, and proof high-quality content across formats, including both long- and short-form mediums.
  • Develop a wide range of content, including white papers, case studies, lead magnets, video scripts, email campaigns, presentations, landing pages, websites, blogs, social media posts, and other thought leadership-style articles.
  • Lead the development of content strategies, aligning messaging with marketing campaigns, lead generation efforts, and advisor engagement goals.
  • Lead and execute a multi-line content strategy, building an efficient, well-planned production process and methodology that drives consistency, scalability, and measurable impact across all business lines.
  • Translate complex financial topics into clear, compelling copy that connects with advisors and clients.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and several client-facing teams to ensure content meets business needs, compliance requirements, and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers, and creative partners, providing input and direction to bring content to life visually.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and a polished approach.
  • Stay current on financial services industry trends and identify opportunities to create timely and impactful content.

Position Requirements

  • Hybrid schedule in Austin, TX - 4 days in office, Fridays from home.
  • 4 to 6 years of professional copywriting experience within an in-house creative department, marketing communications team, or advertising agency.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in financial services writing is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to write across multiple formats, including white papers, case studies, email campaigns, video scripts, and digital marketing content.
  • Experience aligning content with lead generation and marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with design and creative resources, providing direction to ensure content is supported with compelling visuals.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Portfolio/writing samples with diverse writing with diverse mix of short and long-form content

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or corresponding certification/diploma in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline
  • Financial Services experience
