Overview
Designs and implements strength and conditioning programs to improve athletes speed, endurance, strength, power and reduce the risk of injury. Coaches and provides direction to participants to assist in meeting individualized performance goals. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, such as Kinesiology or Athletic Training. Certification and Licensure Certification in Speech and Agility Instruction (ASFA), Strength and Conditioning (NSCA), Performance Enhancement (NASM), or FMS certification preferred. Skills and Abilities Special Physical Demands The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Level of Supervision Oversite and general direction is provided by the Manager. The coach will use independent judgment but alternatives are limited by standard practices or procedures.
