As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Media in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be counted on to provide outstanding customer service, assisting employees and visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, which may include tech and media environments.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.
• Support a secure environment by helping to deter unauthorized behavior through visible presence and regular patrols.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
