JOB SUMMARY |
The Sr. Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for coordination of bidding/estimating activities jointly with the remainder of the preconstruction staff. Will work directly with the Director of Preconstruction to ensure accuracy of bids and submittals and will have a chief role in business development activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. * A minimum of 5+ years in leadership and 15+ years in the Electrical Construction industry. Must have a strong background in preconstruction and estimating. * Current CO Journeyman's license will be preferred, along with knowledge of commercial, residential, and industrial construction, materials, and trade practices.

* Ability to lead a team and represent oneself as a leader in the organization that can provide coaching, development, and corrective action when required. * Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule. * Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential. * Must maintain confidentiality and contribute to a team-oriented work environment. * Skills in conducting research and presenting in front of small to large groups will be required. * Price negotiation, sales, influence, and creativity skills will be highly utilized in this role. * Strong knowledge of financial and operations concepts and practices will be required. * Must be able to work with individuals at all levels of an organization successfully and professionally. * Have the ability to drive results under the pressures of tight deadlines and competing priorities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
* Leads and manages the Preconstruction team consisting of various levels of experience and talents in a manner that drives business results and fosters employment engagement and retention. * Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, bid strategy, interviews, and presentation meetings as required. * Network to build and foster key relationships and partnerships that enable Duro Electric to have the ability to work successfully with General Contractors and Owners * Ensures that take-offs, bids, and estimates are accurate, timely, and are high quality deliverables * Focuses on ensuring that processes maximize efficiencies and create greater team effectiveness * Reviews preconstruction schedule on an ongoing, regular basis, hosting meetings with the Preconstruction team-while working jointly and providing communication with the Operations teams and the PMO to ensure all parties are well informed of Preconstruction activities. * Works closely with members of Senior Leadership on project selection, pricing strategies, bid preparation and notification of bid schedules, deliverables, and forecasting. * Prepares special reports, studies, statistical analysis, brochures, or other special projects per supervisor's request. Such items would usually require research, development and/or interpretation of data requiring a high proficiency in analysis, critical thinking, and advanced business writing * Work harmoniously with other departments to ensure that all company needs and requirements are met. * Perform additional assignments as requested.

- $80,000 - $110,000
