Starkey is hiring a Supervisor All Make Repair at its global headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. If you hearing aid repair knowledge, 2 to 3 years experience, and enjoy new challenges, this could be your next career move. Supervisory experience is a plus. This position is responsible for supervising the All Make Repair Team. Support team skill growth and improvement through communication, leadership, and training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS



  • Responsible for employee work direction, productivity reports and project completion.

    • Establish, execute, monitor repair standards to meet quality standards and corporate goals.


  • Conduct employee reviews in a timely manner.

    • Conduct one-on-one quarterly meetings to review progress and discuss relevant topics.
    • Manage employee (document) disciplinary issues, up to and including termination.


  • Identify and coordinate employee training needs.

    • Support employee cross-training measures in department.
    • Coach and support employee development.


  • Troubleshoot issues and repair difficult hearing aids.
  • Monitor technician key measures: TRR (total return rate), 3-day service levels, productivity, overtime, and internal rework.
  • Other duties / responsibilities as assigned.
  • Support Starkey employee corporate and/or department guidelines.
  • Support corporate health and safety objectives.



JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements



  • Education

    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Electronics school desired.


  • Experience

    • 2 - 3 years of manufacturing experience required.
    • 1 - 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.




Knowledge / Technical Requirements



  • Knowledge of hearing aid products and repair required.
  • Knowledge of audiometric data desired.
  • Knowledge of hearing aid fitting software required.
  • Knowledge of MS office suite.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Good computer skills required: knowledge of Excel preferred.

  • Normal manufacturing conditions.


Equipment Operation



  • Microscope, drills, small hand tools, multimeter, drain meter, soldering iron.
  • Fonix and RTA hearing aid analyzing equipment.
  • Computer Software: Mfg Suite, CQ, MS Office, hearing aid fitting software.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The target rate for this position is between $64,680/year to $76,650/year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits:
The following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, company-paid life insurance, short-term disability insurance, long term disability insurance, employee assistance program, hearing aid benefits, paid time off, paid sick time, and paid holidays.

This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
