What you will accomplish as a Senior FP&A Analyst at TAPCO The Senior FP&A Analyst delivers budgets, forecasts, and financial insights that drive efficiency, improve cost management, and deliver actionable strategic and operational insights. With a focus on direct materials, direct labor, productivity, inventory, vendor management, and other operational metrics, this role provides data driven insights that improve operational performance and support long-term growth initiatives. This role collaborates cross-functionally to generate data-driven insights for teams and leaders across TAPCO's operations. The role plays a key part in planning, measuring and ensuring success of all TAPCO's strategic initiatives by enhancing our financial systems and reporting to deliver timely and actionable insights that enable effective decision-making. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Build and monitor comprehensive financial models, budgets, and KPI reports to support Operations growth and enhancements * Provide accurate and timely forecasting and variance analysis of cost of goods sold and other operational metrics * Deliver operational insights through financial modeling, data analytics, and business intelligence tools * Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data accuracy/availability * Contribute to regular financial and KPI reporting across daily, monthly, weekly, and quarterly cycles * Collaborate with and support operation leaders to drive financial accountability and results * Prepare financial models and complete ROI analysis to evaluate opportunities and risks * Participate as a member of the FP&A team, collaborating with others to produce a broad scope of financial and business analysis while continuously improving FP&A support for teams across TAPCO * Contribute to the development of presentation materials for Board and Executive Team meetings * Performs other duties as assigned Required Knowledge/Skills/Ability * Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills * Extremely high attention-to-detail * Enduring work ethic and proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills * Excellent Excel-based modeling skills, with ability to build financial models from start-to-finish * Ability to distill large sets of complex data into actionable insights * Ability to work independently and within a team environment, while managing multiple competing priorities Qualifications and Experience * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field * 2+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience * Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality financial insights in a fast-paced environment * Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint * Experience with comprehensive data modeling * Experience working with Power BI or a similar BI platform, preferred * Experience working in a private-equity backed company, preferred * Experience in an M&A environment and/or a foundation in private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory services, preferred About Us At TAPCO, we aim to enhance transportation and personal safety in our communities through innovative solutions and products.
