Specializing in precision machining and metal fabrication, our Sanmina Newark, California facility has 16 years experience in both precision and large format solutions for industrial, semiconductor, clean technology and oil & gas markets. We provide comprehensive engineering and test capabilities: from in-house and hydrostatic leak-testing of medium and large format vacuum chambers to machining of precision stainless steel mechanisms. We have the capacity to machine components up to 3 meters. Our metal fabrication services include grinding, vacuum welding, heat treating, plating and anodizing. We can process many advanced materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, ferrous-nonferrous and other exotic alloys.

Job Purpose:

The Order Entry Administrator is responsible for processing and entering orders from email and from our global customers. The successful candidate is responsible for accuracy, timeliness and customer interaction to resolve purchase order problems.

Nature of Duties:



  • Processes orders from program management, sales staff or direct customer contact. Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information
  • Gives price quotations, completes order sheets and checks the price and quantity of each item listed. Distributes order sheets to respective departments
  • Coordinates with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders


Education and Experience:



  • Minimum of a recognized college degree in Administration
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4-6years related experience
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Excel a plus
  • Organized and analytical, high level of detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment

Salary Range(annual): $52,000 - $62,400 ($25.00 - $30.00 per hour) . Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
