Now Hiring: Benefits Specialist (Onsite - Jeffersonville, IN) Are you passionate about helping patients navigate their healthcare benefits? We're looking for a Benefits Specialist to join our team onsite in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and make a meaningful impact every day. What You'll Do * Conduct ~10 outbound calls daily to clarify or gather missing benefit information. * Perform comprehensive benefit investigations using provided scripts and call guides. * Handle inbound patient calls regarding application status and missing documentation. * Accurately document findings in the Summary of Benefits for healthcare providers. * Maintain detailed and up-to-date case notes in the Lynk system. What You Bring Top Skills: * Customer Service * Health Insurance Knowledge * Call Center Experience * Medical Terminology Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Attention to Detail: You're precise and thorough in every task. * Adaptability: You stay consistent and calm in a changing environment. * Patient-Centric Mindset: You communicate with professionalism, kindness, and empathy. * Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel experience is a plus. * Thrives Under Pressure: You excel in fast-paced, high-volume settings. * Experience: Prior exposure to medical claims, insurance verification, or patient access is highly valued. Must-Haves * Solid understanding of medical terminology and basic insurance concepts. * Proven call center experience with strong customer service skills. * Bonus: Experience in benefit verification for pharmaceuticals (not required, but a big plus!). Experience Level Intermediate - Ideal for professionals with a few years of relevant experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. Location This is an onsite role based in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Candidates must be able to work from our office location. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
