As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and guests. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor access, manage visitor entry, and provide a welcoming and professional presence at the front desk. By maintaining a visible and approachable demeanor, you help to deter security-related incidents and create a positive experience for everyone entering the building. You will utilize your customer service skills to address inquiries, respond to alarms as needed, and communicate clearly with building management and Allied Universal team members. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
• Communicate and collaborate with building management, tenants, and/or visitors as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
