As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By maintaining a visible presence, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for employees and visitors. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are essential as you interact with individuals entering and leaving the premises. This position requires driving as part of the role. Pay Rate: $19.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Monitor and control access to designated areas, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance needs as required.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership to address security-related concerns and support operational requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required to meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
