As a Security Officer - Media Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic tech environment, helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all individuals on site. Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor for potential security-related concerns and report any irregularities according to post orders.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment in a technology-focused setting.
• Assist with access control measures and visitor management as required by the site's procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
