Pay Rate $26/hour Must Have Open Availability La Jolla Location Security Professional - On Call Flex Officer wanted to support a Global Company's Headquarter campus site. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in physical security and supporting system operations. Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by ensuring access and control of the premises. This individual will enforce company policies and procedures related to security. Responsibilities: Serves as a key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality security services for personnel, properties, and designated assets.
- Respond promptly to emergency coverage requests across multiple security departments.
- Conduct routine patrols of office buildings, parking lots, and sensitive areas.
- Respond to service calls; assess priority and contact appropriate agencies
- Answer emergency and non-emergency phone lines, including mobile calls
- Monitor surveillance systems (e.g., CCTV) Everbridge, Lenel OnGuard, and BMS systems.
- Enforce access control procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors and verify identification, temporary access credentials as needed.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations professionally.
- Document incidents and submit detailed reports to security leadership a maintain accurate logs of visitor and employee activity.
- Provide courteous assistance and customer service to staff and guests.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, supervisors, and emergency services.
- Support corporate events with crowd control, access management, and emergency readiness.
- Augments Security Management team to support site security operations and events.
Minimum Requirements: - A current California Guard Card
- A valid California Driver's License
- Three or more years in private security, personal protection, or equivalent military, and/or relevant education with a track record of proven experience in a lead or shift supervisor capacity.
- Experienced in standard security protocols and procedures.
- The ability to clearly communicate through writing in various forms
- The ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
- Advanced 1st responder, CPR / First Aid and/or security certifications a plus
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
