As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Full Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a bustling retail location. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and document your activities as needed. This position is primarily a driving post, so you will spend a significant portion of your shift patrolling the property in a vehicle to support a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed.
• Work closely with store management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for customers and staff.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents and daily activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license will be required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
