As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading food and beverage location. Your primary responsibilities will involve access control, where you will monitor entry and exit points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your post. Pay Rate: $13.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or hazards within the food and beverage facility.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns as they arise.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and access control events as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
