As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrols in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all who visit or work at the location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, providing a visible presence that helps to promote a sense of comfort and security for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to security-related situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service by assisting individuals and addressing their concerns. Pay Rate: $16.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment.
• Follow protocols for handling security-related situations, including lost and found items, disturbances, or medical emergencies.
• Document incidents, observations, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
