As a Security Officer - Residential Site Patrol in Rowland Heights, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the community. Your presence will help to provide peace of mind for residents while you monitor assigned areas, remain visible, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. This is a driving post, so you will utilize your driving skills to cover the property and maintain a strong presence throughout the area. In addition to patrolling, you will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with residents and visitors, and uphold the values of Allied Universal by acting with integrity and working collaboratively with your team. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on site.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations to the appropriate personnel as directed by site guidelines.
• Assist residents, visitors, and/or contractors with inquiries or directions as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and/or site-specific occurrences.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local stakeholders to support a secure residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
