As a Security Officer - Telecom Site - Full Time in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting identification and badge checks, and performing routine patrols throughout the assigned areas. By remaining highly visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or suspicious behavior according to site and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
