Pay Rate: $22.59 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel at the location.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to uphold security-related procedures and standards.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the location, adapting responses as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
