As a Security Professional - Plant Patrol in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic food and beverage environment, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. In this driving position, you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. You will also utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document incidents and communicate with your team. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site, especially in food and beverage settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
