As a Unarmed Security Professional - Access Control in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Allied Universal Security Officer specializing in access control within a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, manage entry points, and verify credentials to help maintain order and support operational flow. This is a driving post, where you may be required to operate vehicles as part of your responsibilities. Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication is essential, as you will interact regularly with staff and guests. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the facility, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access control breaches and emergencies.
• Document all access control activities and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate security-related observations and recommendations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Possession of a Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
