As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Center - Full Time in Mullins, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned areas. By maintaining a strong presence, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or vendors with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, adapting to the unique needs of a food and beverage production environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct both regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and report any irregularities or unusual activity.
• Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following established guidelines and procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
