As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your primary responsibilities will focus on access control, where you will monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized activity. Through routine patrols and a visible presence, you will support a secure atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document and report any observations or incidents according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers to verify credentials and maintain an orderly flow of people and vehicles.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including following evacuation procedures and providing information to first responders as needed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and remain alert to potential security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
