As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare location. You will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy. Your presence will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while your attention to detail and strong communication skills will support ongoing access control and alarm response needs. Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to site protocols.
• Document and communicate incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
