Job Summary:

ACCO relies on a variety of enterprise-level software packages and Technology Team tools to facilitate effective business processes and manage critical employee, financial, and job-related data. Accordingly, data accuracy and integrity, along with effective and efficient business processes, are key components in the company's strategic growth plans. This Senior Business Analyst role will play a vital role in successfully supporting business initiatives across the organization. The role is responsible for the full lifecycle of business analysis. The role provides the opportunity to work cross-functionally across the company with Field, Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to drive impactful change, develop analytics capabilities, and manage the quality and integration of data and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide strategic oversight for the process of collecting and managing requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business goals and deliver maximum value.
  • Define and implement best practices for collecting business requirements, business cases, and ROI analysis.


Clearly define issues and develop business cases for process changes or enhancements.

Cleary define business requirements and scope of new solutions

Continuously identify issues with current business systems and processes.

Evaluate solutions taking care to understand downstream impacts.

Identify opportunities and participate in development of solutions for process improvement.

Collaborate with Technology Development partners in the development and execution of solutions and in the development and testing of test scripts for software and process changes.

Collaborate with Technology Support partners in responding to queries, monitoring systems, analyzing data, and escalating issues as appropriate.

Partner in the definition of standards for data quality and ensure data is prepared for qualitative and quantitative decision-making.

Collaborate with Technology Team Support partners in responding to complex queries and providing strategic insights from data analysis.

Research, evaluate, and present industry trends and technology advancements that may affect the company's services.

Mentor and train entry-level Business Analyst to prepare for Senior level role.

Other duties as assigned by upper management.

Position Requirements (Work Experience, Skills, Licenses, etc.):

Proven experience operating with a high degree of autonomy and providing strategic direction.

Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with experience guiding and developing entry-level analysts.

Expert knowledge of requirements analysis.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office products.

Demonstrates the ability to work independently and in a team setting

Ability to develop & present a strong business case complete with ROI.

Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to adapt to people and new processes.

Demonstrates appropriate discretion with sensitive information.

Demonstrates strength in troubleshooting issues with software and data.

Demonstrates an understanding of Systems Analysis (determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment affects outcomes).



  • Proficiency in running and facilitating strategic meetings and communicating effectively with all levels of management.


Expert skills in verbal & written communications, articulating complex business issues into action, and presenting strong business cases.

Strong critical thinking skills-the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to complex problems.

Demonstrates an understanding of Systems Analysis and its strategic application.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Technology

7+ years of experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience preferred

Certifications in Business Analysis (such as CBAP, CCBA) are highly preferred.

Job Responsibility Level:

Hours:

This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Work outside of regular hours may occasionally be necessary to meet business needs.

Physical Demands:

The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.

The auditory/hearing abilities required by the job include the ability to hear customers calling by telephone.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

Competitive Wages:

$33.31 to $43.10 per hour. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
