We are seeking a Customer Service Associate for our Ambulatory Care Division in Allentown. This position will ensure that all communications with customers, proactive, reactive, new, or existing will be efficient and to the standards set by HCSC Ambulatory Care. The pay range for this position starts at $17.00 per hour based on experience. In addition, HCSC offers the following to all full-time employees:

What you will be doing:



  • Supports Ambulatory care external customers as well as staff on a daily basis through phone, email, and verbal and written communication.
  • Assists the team with record keeping, reporting, and data transfers.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone with clients, customers, and internal teams including active listening, courteous language, and effective call handling.


What you will bring to the role:



  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
  • Able to handle difficult situations and persons tactfully and professionally
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Call center experience is preferred.


Additional information:

This position will be based out of the Allentown Ambulatory Care facility and reports to the Customer Care Supervisor. They will be responsible for working the following schedule:



  • Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm


  • Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.


  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen are required.
