Sr. Director Finance Function: Finance & Strategy
About the Role: This leader will be responsible for overseeing financial operations (revenue and production), performance management and business partnering across the region. This role will act as the financial owner of the Revenue and operations, partnering (with Sales, Marketing, GTM, product and Operations) leadership to ensure targets are realistic, performance is transparent, and accountability is maintained. This role will be at the forefront of key change initiatives and will require a mix of strategic thinking and operational discipline - will challenge the business constructively, driving forecast accuracy, and delivering actionable insights to help maximize revenue growth and profitability through gross margin. Key Responsibilities: *Revenue Forecasting: Build, manage, and optimize the Americas revenue forecast, including pricing strategy, scenario modeling, risk analysis, and variance tracking. Assess the effectiveness of all distribution channels, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue. Analyze complex revenue data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities and provide senior leadership with regular revenue performance reports and insights *Business Partnership: Partner closely with America's Sales, Marketing, product and Operations leadership to manage change, and influence decisions with financial insight and challenge assumptions where needed to ensure forecast success *Revenue and Margin Analytics: Analyze pipeline, conversion rates, deal velocity, churn, and other key metrics to inform forecast and strategic decision-making. Identify and support profit improvement initiatives and work cross-functionally to execute them. *Revenue and Profit Planning: Lead the annual and quarterly planning cycles for the Americas revenue line; align topline goals with capacity and productivity models. Ensure growth strategies are balanced with cost efficiency and sustainable margin expansion. *Revenue Governance: Ensure alignment between bookings, revenue recognition policies (in collaboration with Controllership), and business KPIs. *Executive Reporting: Create and deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews to senior leadership, including detailed commentary on revenue and profitability performance. *Challenge & Influence: Act as a financial steward-push back when needed, ask hard questions, and ensure decisions are grounded in financial reality. *Sales Operations: Manage the team who supports pipeline management, reporting, CRM Governance; quota management, Goals, Targets & Territories Qualifications: *12+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, strategic finance; at least 3 years supporting Sales or Revenue teams with a focus on both revenue and profitability. *Deep understanding of revenue forecasting, sales metrics, and SaaS or recurring revenue models. *Experience in enterprise B2B service oriented businesses. *Proven ability to design, lead and improve profit improvement initiatives. *Strong communication skills: able to influence senior stakeholders and hold cross-functional partners accountable. *Comfortable in high-growth, fast-changing environments. *Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar. *Familiarity with BI tools Preferred Traits: *Commercially minded, Challenger mindset with strong analytical backbone. *Operates with urgency, precision, and integrity. *Business-savvy, curious, and not afraid to say "no" when necessary. The base salary range for this position in is $180K-$200K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
