As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting a secure environment within a major transportation location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter unauthorized activity and security-related incidents. You will also maintain a highly visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols at transportation locations.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for transportation settings.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during shifts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while upholding Allied Universal's standards of service.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
