We are seeking a strategic Senior Operations Manager to lead and elevate the operations of our flagship supply chain hub in Bolingbrook, IL. As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for our supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with our values and delivering exceptional performance.


What You Will Do

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for flagship supply chain hub, aligning with company values and overarching business goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the hub operations team in executing strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and principled-based decision-making.
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.

Operational Excellence:

  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity, leveraging six sigma, lean, and kaizen methodologies.
  • Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance overall performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of operations with broader business objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance collaboration between departments and improve overall business performance.

Performance Metrics and Analysis:

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business headwinds and tailwinds.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Oversee risk management processes to identify and mitigate potential operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, safety, and ethical standards.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in a senior operations management role within the supply chain or logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives and achieving operational excellence.
  • In-depth understanding of principled-based operations and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with six sigma, lean, and/or kaizen.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.

For this role, we anticipate paying $115,000- $135,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
