The Director, Program Management, S/4 HANA is accountable for driving the successful delivery of Belden's global implementation of S/4. Through the Program Management team, establishes consistent project management standards, integrates cross-functional workstreams, manages risks & interdependencies, and ensures on-time, on-budget delivery aligned to strategic objectives. The Director reports to the VP.

You will make an impact in the following ways:



  • Program Management Framework: Design and implement global Program Management framework specific to the S/4 implementation, including tools, processes, reporting, and standards
  • Project Planning & Management: Establish and maintain integrated program roadmap, master schedule, and milestone tracking. Maintain alignment of scope, timelines, and deliverables across functional and global workstreams.
  • Program Governance. Lead program level governance, including steering committee engagement, issue escalation, executive reporting, and project exit criteria across the various phases of the program.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Establish risk and issue management processes and ensures they are applied consistently across workstreams.
  • Change & Scope Management: Develop and oversee rigorous change management process
  • Team Coordination: Manage program resource availability and engagement
  • Deployment & Cutover Planning: In partnership with Deployment team, support deployment planning, cutover readiness, and hypercare management from a Program Management perspective
  • Program Financials & Vendor Management: In collaboration with Finance & Procurement, monitor program financials including budget tracking, variance analysis, and resource allocation and manage third-party Bendor contract, scope, deliverables, and performance
  • Program Dependencies & Integration Points: In partnership with functional workstream teams, align on milestone dependencies, resource needs, and cross-workstream integration points. Support cross-team collaboration and issue resolution


What you will bring:



  • Strategic Execution: Balances high-level oversight with operational detail to maintain momentum and ensure successful delivery.
  • Rigor in Project Management: Strong project management orientation and execution focus to support all workstream activities across complex, global, multi-phase program. PMP Certification preferred
  • Collaboration & Influence: Builds trust with diverse stakeholders and drives alignment without formal authority
  • Decisiveness & Accountability: Makes informed decisions quickly and holds teams accountable to timelines and quality
  • Adaptability: Navigates complexity and adapts plans in response to evolving risks and priorities
  • Clarity & Communication: Skilled in proactive, clear, and concise communication to audiences at a variety of organizational levels. Distills complexity into actionable insights
  • People Management: Experience hiring, developing, coaching, and managing team of project management experts
  • Experience: 10+ years experience in a manufacturing environment with global program management of a SAP S/4 implementation
  • Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 30% including globally


Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $180,000 - 230,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
