The Director Data Integrity & Governance SAP S/4 HANA is responsible for ensuring the integrity, consistency, and reliability of data migrated to and managed within SAP S/4 HANA. Establishes and enforces One Belden data definitions, data governance frameworks, defines data ownership and stewardship models specific to SAP S/4 and leads data quality management processes across business functions and geographies.

You will make a difference in the following ways:



  • Data Strategy: Establish One Belden master data strategy with focus on consistent and globally aligned data definitions, consolidation, deduplication, and optimization
  • Global Data Alignment: Lead efforts to establish globally consistent data standards across functions, regions, and teams.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Provide executive-level and business reporting on data quality measures, root cause analysis, and any remediations needed
  • Data Governance: Establish and implement data governance strategy and organization to support long-term data quality requirements. Maintain data standards, definitions, and business rules aligned with global and local requirements
  • Data Cleansing: Lead data cleansing efforts including recruitment of business resources to support. Ensure data quality standards established, implemented, & maintained
  • Data Definition: In partnership with business stakeholders and functional teams, define critical data elements, business rules and validation logic - priorizing a One Belden approach. Collaborate on business ownership of data and stewardship responsibilities
  • Data Quality: In collaboration with the functional workstreams and IT data team, ensure clean, validated, and complete data is available for conversion into SAP S/4. Align on data mapping, transformation logic, and reconciliation processes.
  • Change Enablement: Partner with the Change Enablement team to promote data governance awareness and adoption through stakeholder education and training. Embed data standards into business process documentation and training

  • Systems Orientation: Understands the functional and business dimension of data within Belden's legacy and future ERP systems
  • Influence without Authority: Build consensus and drives adoption of One Belden data definitions and frameworks and data governance practices through strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Change Leadership: Advocation for a culture of data accountability and continuous improvement
  • Execution Focus: Drives measurable improvements in data quality over the course of the implementations mock cycles, leading to high quality data at the time of implementation. Maintains high standards and tenacity in solving data quality issues with root cause precisions
  • Clear Communicator: Skilled in proactive, clear, and concise communication to audiences at a variety of organizational levels
  • People management: Experience hiring, developing, coaching and managing team of functional data experts
  • Experience: 10+ years experience in a manufacturing environment with global SAP S/4 implementation

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $180,000 - 230,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
