What to Expect
Reporting to the Workplace Staff Program Manager, the Workplace Systems Engineer's primary role is to contribute to the team by helping to solve unique problems in a creative and often unconventional manner through the lens of an adaptable and data-driven approach. As part of the Workplace team, the Workplace Systems Engineer directly supports the programs of multiple Tesla facilities. The Workplace Systems Engineer will work with Project Managers and site leaders to collect data and develop systems for the purpose of optimizing WP programs and initiatives; to identify Key Performance Indicators and relevant data points directed towards improving employee experience at Tesla facilities; to develop procedures to assist in the continued implementation of Workplace Programs and to use these procedures to provide support to the onsite Workplace Operations teams.
What You'll Do
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Workplace problem-solving and program management strategies for use in implementation of new programs & platforms and maintenance of existing programs
- Utilize business intelligence tools to identify, create, analyze, and maintain metrics to support business needs
- Use interpersonal skills and abilities to partner with Operations teams to scope projects, gather requirements, and create Business Intelligence solutions to support operational objectives
- Prepare reports for leadership to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
- Support varied programs such as issue tracking, project management, budget management, and Operations tools to support all Tesla facilities
- Work with the Workplace analytics and automation team to create low-code applications to facilitate Workplace operations
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficient in PowerBI, Tableau, or other data visualization platform
- Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Background in SQL preferred
- Experience with RESTful APIs preferred
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
