Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Quality Assurance Specialist to join our amazing culture. What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Complete on-site reviews of project and service work for compliance with project specifications, best practices, and Convergint standards as it relates to field installations and service.
  • Assist operations and service teams with completing final job walk and commissioning for projects and service work to ensure completion meets Convergint standards.
  • Provide guidance to Convergint colleagues to help develop and implement best practices in applying industry standards for installation, service, and connect partners.
  • Report discrepancies in installation or service practices to leadership and assists with developing and implementing strategies to improve or correct the discrepancies.
  • Assist with oversight of training needs and programs to ensure colleagues are equipped to follow industry standards for installation and service.
  • Coordinate and schedule product partners to provide industry specific training for colleagues.
  • Provide training to end-users and field colleagues on system operation and maintenance, ensuring adherence to Convergint standards and industry best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by verifying that all work aligns with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as internal health and safety policies
  • Meet with customers to ensure satisfaction of installation and service practices for the customer's specific locations.
  • Act as a customer liaison for quality issues raised by customer or other colleagues.
  • Proactively recommends improvements to methods, procedures, and standards to elevate project execution and service delivery.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required based on business need.


What You'll Need



  • Proven technical skills and experience related to electronic security systems, building automation systems, and/or fire alarm systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., drills, wire strippers, crimpers).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
  • Willingness to conduct frequent jobsite visits; minimal overnight travel required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other relevant software platforms.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.

Requirements:

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Licenses and Certifications:



  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • EL06 License Required


Minimum Experience: 3-5 years relevant

Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • Relevant field experience
  • Certifications: Product-specific certifications, Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses, Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone or ONSSI, AXIS

The estimated compensation range for this position is $41/hr-$49/hr.
