Our Truck Technician (2nd Shift) is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing on-highway trucks to ensure the customer receives maximum value for work performed. Hourly Base Rate: $26.00 - $58.82 / hour (Includes $2.00 Shift Differential) Shift (4x10): Monday thru Thursday / 330pm to 130am Benefits: Tool Reimbursement Work Boot Reimbursement Prescription Safety Glasses Reimbursement Uniforms and Cleaning Services Paid Annual Training Long-term Incentive Program 401(k) with Matching Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave Dependent Care Account HSA / FSA Options Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Life / AD&D / Short-Term Disability / Long-Term Disability Insurance Company Laptop for Troubleshooting and Ordering Parts Clearly Defined Path of Progression for Technical Advancement What You Will Do in This Role: Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance for on-highway truck Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustments Remove / install parts, disassemble / assemble components, and test / adjust assemblies with minimal supervision Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers on their repairs Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments Knowledge of use of various on-highway trucks Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications Ability to drive and may require valid CDL license Valid Class A CDL or B CDL or the ability to obtain one What will put you ahead: Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry (specifically with Class 8 trucks) Stable work history All makes and models of engine rebuilds Class A CDL preferred About Foley Equipment: Foley Industries - Foley Equipment, Foley Power Solutions, Foley Rental and SITECH Central - enters its ninth decade of empowering progress for customers in Kansas and Western Missouri.
