Location/Site - Cambridge, MA, 02141 100% Onsite

Duration: 12 months

Work shift (days/times) - Day shift: 8:00-5:00 M-F

What years of experience, education, and/or certification is required? BS in Chemistry with 5 years of lab experience or Master's Degree with 0-2 years of lab experience.

What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification? Research presentations/publications. Experienced with and strong working knowledge of above instruments, with demonstrated strong lab skills. Excellent documentation skills, with GMP/ GLP experience. May have publications, or experience in presentation of findings to scientific organizations. (preferred but not required)

Job Description:

* Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks.

* Independently generate precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner. Document the experimentation per the regulatory requirements.

* Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills and should possess understanding of core scientific discipline.

* Develop protocols for more complex tests or experiments performed with less defined assays and parameters.

* Ensures safety requirements are met when performing tasks.

* Ensures timely delivery of high-quality precise data.

* Applies basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and instrument related systems.

* Presents findings of defined experiments to larger audiences.

Requirements/Qualifications:

* BS/BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or related field with minimum 5 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) or master's degree with 0- 2 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred).

* Experienced use of analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, dissolution, KF and chromatography data systems (i.e., Empower, Openlab, or Chromeleon).

* Strong documentation skills and familiarity of GMP, GLP. Able to present experimental findings to larger groups. Strong communication skills.
