Warehouse Lead

Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in Windsor, CT. If you're an organized, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to step into a role with responsibility, growth potential, and a supportive team.

Pay & Schedule:

• $19.50/hour
• Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (or until work is complete; start/end times may vary depending on workload)

What You'll Do:

• Lead and coordinate warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor productivity and ensure a minimum of 450 pieces processed per hour
• Read and recognize zip codes and barcodes on mail pieces accurately
• Input zip code numbers efficiently using standard personal 10-key
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and forklift operations as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Bend, stretch, lift (up to 30-50 lbs.), and move throughout the shift
• Use RF scanners and computer systems to track inventory and shipments
• Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training for team members

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Forklift and shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically active role
• Prior experience with RF scanners and basic computer literacy
