Purpose of the Role The Senior Manager, Field Procurement Management position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and materials management to ensure the successful delivery of equipment, materials, and third-party contract services. This role supports Worley's vision of delivering sustainable change by ensuring compliance with quality standards, optimizing cost-efficiency, and meeting project schedule requirements. The position plays a pivotal role in supporting our customers' journey toward sustainability by driving innovation and efficiency in procurement practices. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive Procurement Plan for each project, outlining key equipment, materials, and third-party service requirements. Ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and Worley's sustainability goals. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain an approved vendor list. Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality compliance and timely delivery. PO Management: Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs), evaluate vendor bids, and provide recommendations for contract awards. Negotiate terms to achieve optimal outcomes for the organization. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Process Optimization: Develop and refine systems, processes, and tools to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align procurement activities with broader organizational initiatives and customer requirements. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Sustainability Integration: Drive sustainability-focused initiatives within the procurement function, aligning with Worley's commitment to deriving the majority of revenue from sustainability-related projects by FY26. #LI-JS4 Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered. Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, or a related discipline, including supervisory or project management roles. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams. Experience in driving change and fostering a collaborative work environment. Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of procurement systems, processes, and tools. Experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex proposals and reports to senior leadership. Ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Business Acumen: Solid understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and sustainability principles. Ability to align procurement practices with organizational goals. Interpersonal Skills: Strong stakeholder management abilities with a participative management style and a cooperative approach to conflict resolution.
