Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Program and troubleshoot advanced electronic security systems.
  • Effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Read blueprints and schematics.
  • Lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, read, and write clearly to communicate with employees or other clients.
  • Manual dexterity required for reaching, climbing ladders, lifting objects, operating office equipment and hand-held power tools.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Travel to customer sites as necessary.


Basic Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 5+ years of experience working with Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection, CCTV and other low voltage electronic systems
  • Advance knowledge of hand tools, test/set up equipment and company machinery. Demonstrate ability to train others in use
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical circuitry, network principles, NEC and fire codes
  • Read/understand technical drawings, programming and installation guides
  • Advanced knowledge of various low voltage systems
  • Must be able to occasionally travel overnight
