Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Contracts Professional to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate for this Contracts Professional position thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple projects with ease, communicates clearly and with confidence.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for exquisite execution of the following priorities:

  • Draft contracts, subcontracts, and amendments consistent with corporate quality standards, policy and applicable state and federal requirements
  • Prepare and administer contract-related correspondence including but not limited to transmittals, contract disputes, terminations, and close outs
  • Accurate and timely completion of contract disclosure and similar forms
  • Data entry and maintenance of contracting database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with internal policies and external audit standards
  • Prepare contracting reports as requested to support business needs
  • Track contract milestones (e.g., renewals, terminations) and create/manage a master schedule of required actions
  • Liaise with project managers, finance, and other internal stakeholders to support contracting activities
  • Manage internal contracting and authority matrix processes to gain approvals and execution of contract, contract modifications and other legal instruments
  • Research contracts or related documentation for response to ad hoc requests
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in contracting or contract administration
  • Experience in a government contracting environment (e.g., healthcare, IT)
  • Full proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Medicaid, Medicare, or other government-funded healthcare programs
  • Working knowledge of SAI360 or similar contract management systems
  • Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills
  • Energetic self-starter with creative approach to problem solving
